Task
Developing the business case for African climate adaptation SMEs in their growth stages to attract and catalyze impact and private capital flows into the sector.
Approach/Execution
- Develop a criterion and definition of a climate adaptation project i.e. size of finance, no. of beneficiaries, area of implementation, etc.
- Mapping of stakeholders involved in climate finance and enterprises benefited from climate adaptation finance.
- A systemic review of the climate adaptation projects and development dominant themes.
- Development of success markers for each project and assign a tangible value
Solution
Development of a climate adaption solution Atlas for Kenya to be utilized by FSD Africa as best practice knowledge management product/ collateral.
